|ESP/ENG| 5 red flags in friendships and people according to me 🚩🚩

Hello hiveers 🚨 Sometimes I think it's completely normal, that we feel that we run out of an idea that we really like to bring to the platform, so that's where I spend a lot of time brainstorming in my mind, until I come up with something that I can use. That's how today I decided to talk about red flags. A term that lately you hear a lot in networks, especially I see it more on Twitter, and there are red flags of all kinds.
To put them in context, basically they are those attitudes or things that we discard at the first time in a work, friendship or couple relationship. They are like those things that do not seem healthy or good to us and immediately it is an alert, like run away from there HAHAHAHA. And that's why it's a red flag with that person or in that area. In this case I will tell you 5 red flags for me in friendships.

1. When they make comments with bad intentions.
This is the first red flag for me, I feel it's horrible when people see themselves with the power to be able to judge you or something like that just because they are friends or acquaintances. Or they make bad comments because they think they know you or know everything about your life, that to me is a red flag of people I don't want in my life. The comments with bad intentions always come disguised so that they are not misunderstood, but I think that is when you understand the way they say it.

2. When they speak ill of a friend who is not there
There is a saying that goes "be careful who you unburden yourself to because today they are ears and tomorrow they are tongues", and although it sounds ugly, it is even uglier to have a friend who talks about another when he is not present or divulges the things he told you. Because it could be that someday you will be the one they talk about, and nobody wants that. It's better to just stay away from that kind of person.

3. When they humiliate you to look good in front of a group.
This is linked to the first thing I said, and that is that many people abuse the trust by claiming to be your friend, and how they want to be the center of attention or something like that humiliate you just to make the group laugh or look good with others, which I consider immature, and that a good friend does not do.

4. That they minimize/invalidate your feelings.
This is one of the biggest red flags, with which I myself had to deal with in a friendship, nowadays I am fond of this person but the treatment is not the same as before. And it is simply annoying that they are constantly telling you that you exaggerate everything, that you don't really feel something or that you are feeling too much. It was super bad because that person always told me that I was very dedicated, that I felt a lot for the people close to me and then those people would leave me alone and things like that, he called me crazy. So never allow that, the people around you are not the same as you, they don't feel the same way as you, they don't express themselves the same way, so red flag with them.

5. When your opinion is the only one that counts.
I consider a good friend to be an empathetic person, who seeks to connect with you in the best way and supports you no matter what, unless you are really wrong and then tells you that you are not right. But not all the time, because then it becomes something always around the person, where if you do not think, or act in the same way you are totally wrong and they say you are not right. This kind of people should not be in your friends environment, it is a very toxic attitude and that is why I consider it my last red flag.

That's why I recommend you to be very selective with your friendships, and at the first weird attitude consider it a red flags HAHAHAHA. See you soon hivers🐝.

All those 5 key points are indeed true. Although there are times that even if red flags have shown, I give that person the benefit of the doubt but once I feel that person have become toxic, I totally cut them out from my life.
You have indeed brought up some brilliant points in your post. Too often, I think people tolerate bad behavior in their friends when actuallyit shows that these are not really friends at all. I tend to be soft-hearted, and give people too many chances. Second chances are okay. We all can make mistakes sometimes I think. However, I have finally learned to think long and hard before giving a third (or fourth) chance.
