Hi there! This is my entry for the Day 1578: 5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday - Prompt: first trial from Freewriters. Another wonderful freewrite from the ever awesome mariannewest! It has also been a while for me to write exciting stuff such as these so I thought I'll give it a shot! :)

Him:
"My love, I am tired
Tired from this dreaded world
Please help these lowly hands
I am exhausted, sad"
Her:
"Come here my prince
Come here with me
I'll be your comfort
I'll be your peace"
"Through darkness I'll be beside you
I'll never leave you
These thin hands will uphold you
This body will caress you"
"Rest here, on my lap
And let the world crumble on its own
Do not give a mind to what it says
You're home, you're home"
"Rest well, my love
Rest well
For tomorrow is another day
And I'll still be here waiting for you"
"Love me and I'll love you
Leave me and I'll leave you
Die with me and I'll die too
Rest with me and I'll rest beside you"
Him:

Thanks! 😅 I was thinking that, your lover may be your sunshine but they can also be your storm. Like, their flaws. Their imperfections. Their temper. And you accept all of that. Hence, you accept their "storm". They're both your sunshine and your storm.
Or something like that 😅
Yeah, the connotations for storm are vast. That's why I think the line hits so hard. 🤷♀
At any rate, I read some of your other stuff and I have to say I really like your "darkness" - If that makes any sense. 😅

Exactly. I sometimes like the readers to have their own interpretations on my works. Knowing that my idea is not only limited to one.
hahahah oh wow! Thank you so much! 😄 In reality, I'm quite of a jolly person though. 😂 Its just that my depression overlaps me sometimes. So most of my poems are towards dark meanings and dark vibes. Quite the opposite if you meet me in person. 🤣
Thank you so much! I have also noticed from your previous works that you are so poetic in your words. I oftentimes struggle to use or find poetic words since English is not my first language. But I'm constantly learning though! 😁 Hoping to learn more about you and be inspired as well. 😊
That's actually great! 😜 It's good that you've found an outlet for it. I would wager most people struggling with symptoms of depression use writing to chill the soul. 🙏
