Feliz día para todos los que me siguen y me leen, hoy quiero hacerles una pregunta ¿En que lugar que han visitado les gustaría estar hoy?, para mi la respuesta fue sencilla pues desearía estar en el Parque Nacional Morrocoy; mejor conocido como "Los Cayos" pero siendo mucho más especifica en "Cayo Sombrero" y es que pienso en el azul de sus aguas, sus arenas blancas y finas y de una vez me traslado a un momento de relajación perpetuo, amo la playa y el Mar Caribe es una maravilla en definitiva.

For me the answer was simple because I would like to be in the Morrocoy National Park; better known as "Los Cayos" but being much more specific in "Cayo Sombrero" and it is that I think of the blue of its waters, its white and fine sands and at once I move to a moment of perpetual relaxation, I love the beach and The Caribbean Sea is definitely a wonder.

Para los nuevos visitantes, el Parque Nacional Morrocoy es una reserva marina que cuenta con una serie de Islotes que en Venezuela tienen el nombre de "Cayos", son pequeñas playas perfectas para el turismo, dependiendo de lo que se desee encontrar y hacer, hay diversas zonas donde se pueden realizar actividades de buceo o simplemente relajarte en la playa con el sol y la brisa del Mar Caribe.

Este Parque Nacional esta ubicado en el estado Falcón-Venezuela, y posee cerca de 32.000 hectáreas, la verdad vale la pena visitarlo, hasta ahora solo conozco algunos de los Islote como: Cayo muerto, Cayo sal, Playuela-Playuelita, creo que una que se llama playa azul no recuerdo bien y Cayo sombrero, de verdad que son lugares hermosos.

This National Park is located in the state of Falcón-Venezuela, and has about 32,000 hectares, the truth is worth visiting, so far I only know some of the Islet such as: Cayo Muerto, Cayo Sal, Playuela-Playuelita, I think one that It's called Playa Azul, I don't remember well, and Cayo Sombrero, they really are beautiful places.

Creo que hay que disfrutar sanamente de estos lugares y compartir con amigos y familia no tiene precio, para mi este fue uno de los últimos viajes que hice con amigos en Venezuela, pues en su mayoría ya no están en el país, para ese entonces aun no pensábamos tanto en irnos, digamos que el país aun se encontraba un poco más estable pues como ven se podía viajar, hacer esto hoy en día es bastante costoso. Es una pena pues estos pueblos aledaños a los Cayos viven del turismo y muchas personas de ciudades cercanas los fines de semana acudían a pasar un rato de esparcimiento, pero la situación esta muy complicado que ya eso no se ve tanto. De verdad vale la pena recuperar el turismo en Venezuela, tiene sitios hermosos dignos de películas, yo por lo menos estoy enamorada del azul profundo de Cayo Sombrero.

It's a shame because these towns near the Keys live off tourism and many people from nearby cities would come on weekends to spend some time relaxing, but the situation is so complicated that you don't see that much anymore. It is really worth recovering tourism in Venezuela, it has beautiful places worthy of movies, at least I am in love with the deep blue of Cayo Sombrero.

Por supuesto que al ser una reserva marina debe tener ciertas características que le acrediten ese titulo, por lo que todos estos "Cayos" poseen una variedad increíble de flora y fauna.

Flora

Toda la zona posee un tipo de bosque seco tropical, hay vegetación muy variada perteneciente a zonas de lagunas costeras hasta fondos marinos, hay plantas incluso verdes como olivos y otras más propias de zonas secas más adaptadas a la exposición continua al salitre. Hay muchos cactus, tunas y cardones; existen especies de manglares como el mangle rojo negro, blanco y el botoncillo, dentro de las profundidades del mar vamos a encontrar ya diversidad de algas como la fanerógama marina que es uno de los principales alimentos de las tortugas marinas. ¿genial no?.

Flora

The entire area has a type of tropical dry forest, there is very varied vegetation belonging to areas from coastal lagoons to seabeds, there are even green plants such as olive trees and others more typical of dry areas more adapted to continuous exposure to saltpeter. There are many cacti, prickly pears and cardons; There are species of mangroves such as the red, black, white and buttonwood mangroves, within the depths of the sea we will already find a diversity of algae such as the seagrass, which is one of the main foods of sea turtles. great isn't it?

Fauna

Dentro del Parque Nacional Morrocoy hay una variedad muy grande de aves, aproximadamente 266 especies, como el águila pescadora, el flamenco, garzas, pelícanos, Paují, loros, entre otros. No solo habitan aves, también hay muchos reptiles, como las tortugas marinas (entre ellas la verde, carey, cardón, cabezón), el caimán de la costa que por cierto están en peligro de extinción. Si queremos ver mamíferos podemos encontrar delfines y ballenatos que tienen el parque como refugio, pero no solo en el mar, también hay diversos animales mamíferos terrestres como venados, el Oso Melero, zorros, monos, perezosos, rabipelados (zarigüeyas), lapa, picure, entre otros. La mayoría o en general los peces que más son reproducidos en esta zona son el mero, el pargo, la curiba, el sábalo, róbalo, pez sapo, cazón, sardina, cachama, entre otros, de la familia d los moluscos y crustáceos que más se ven son la ostra, liebres marinas, langostas, cangrejos, jaibas y otros. De verdad que es un parque muy rico en fauna, y se pueden hacer diversas actividades para intentar conocer todo lo que he nombrado.

Wildlife

If we want to see mammals we can find dolphins and calves that have the park as a refuge, but not only in the sea, there are also various terrestrial mammalian animals such as deer, the Melero Bear, foxes, monkeys, sloths, rabipelados (possums), lapa, picure , among others. Most or in general the fish that are most reproduced in this area are grouper, snapper, curiba, tarpon, sea bass, toad fish, dogfish, sardine, cachama, among others, from the family of molluscs and crustaceans that most seen are oysters, sea hares, lobsters, crabs, crabs and others. It really is a park very rich in fauna, and you can do various activities to try to get to know everything that I have named.

Sin más que decir creo que debemos conocer nuestro país, es lo que nos da el sentido de pertenencia, todo el planeta tierra esta inmerso de lugares increíbles, me encanta mostrarle al mundo lo que hay en mi país, y me gustaría hacerlo más seguido pero viajar ahora en Venezuela es complicado, es una pena pero no se puede hacer tan seguido, me encanta esta playa porque de verdad sentí una paz infinita en ella, su agua era transparente tanto que podía ver pequeños peces alrededor de mis pies, es una maravilla, debemos proteger estos sitios y cuidarlos para que se mantengan intactos por siempre, gracias por leerme y espero algún día puedan visitar esta maravilla y obvio yo volver a hacerlo.
