Athletes and Officials Positive for Covid-19

There are at least 45 athletes and officials in the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) who were confirmed positive for Covid-19, after there were two additional cases on October 9, 2021.

The percentage of cases that occurred was 0.45 percent from 10,066 athletes and officials. Of these, 34 are still undergoing treatment and nine have recovered. The additional daily cases as of October 9, 2021 are two people consisting of one person in Jayapura City and one person in Merauke.
