The frenzied dance on the brink of the digital abyss

The coffee hasn’t quite finished brewing in the filter yet, and already my thumb is frantically swiping across the cold screen. The charts on Hive show a mountain range crumbling; red is the dominant colour of this lean season. That’s when the phrase echoes like a galley drum: ‘Row faster!’. It’s not a whim; it’s the law of survival in this ecosystem where time doesn’t just pass—it flies.

We recall that old saying about the prawn that, in the blink of an eye, was swept away by the current. Here, neglecting the oar means becoming invisible. Posting daily is not just a mechanical routine; it is an act of faith and human resilience. Commenting on a colleague’s discovery, appreciating that photograph that took hours to capture and, above all, keeping up the pace when our arms are burning with the uncertainty of the market, truly defines who we are.

Modern life has turned us into rowers on an invisible ocean. If we stop moving, the relentless tide of oblivion drags us to the bottom. “Row faster,” we repeat to ourselves like a mantra, whilst the clock on the wall seems to have downed an energy drink. The reward is not always the rising value of the token, but the certainty that we’re still on board, living in the present with the intensity of someone who knows that every second is a golden opportunity that will never return.

Today is no day to sit idly by. With the water up to our necks but our hope still intact, all that’s left is to dip the oar hard into the water, take a deep breath and smile in the face of fate’s gale. Blessings!

¡Bendiciones!
