You could ask for a trip to the library of books never written or to the very centre of a black hole to see how time bends. Impossible destinations, landmarks of a fantasy that seduces us with its unattainable brilliance. Others, perhaps more wistful, might ask to be taken to the ‘what if’: that non-existent land where unspoken words are finally uttered, and mistakes dissolve.
However, the true chronicle of our journey lies in the tangible. Perhaps all you need is to be drawn to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the comforting weight of a helping hand, or the silence needed to hear your own voice. Life is this ebb and flow between the desire to reach for the stars and the need to feel the grass beneath your feet.
Don’t lose yourself in the stratosphere, my dear reader. Even if you ask for a ride to the impossible, remember that the engine is your will and the fuel… your most human dreams. You can travel to Jupiter from your desk chair, provided you don’t forget that it is your actual footsteps that build the path. Dream of the eternal, but walk firmly on the tarmac. Remember that the best destination is the one where you find yourselves more awake than ever.

“I need a lift”, dices, y la frase flota como un desafío suspendido en el aire de este lunes. Ante tal petición, la pregunta brota naturalmente: "@daily.prompt, ¿a dónde necesitas que te llevemos hoy?" El universo de respuestas es un mapa infinito donde la lógica suele perder el norte y el deseo toma el volante.
Pasajes al país del «Hubiera» y otros destinos tangibles
Podrías pedir un viaje a la biblioteca de los libros nunca escritos o al centro exacto de un agujero negro para ver cómo se dobla el tiempo. Destinos imposibles, hitos de una fantasía que nos seduce con su brillo inalcanzable. Otros, quizás más melancólicos, pedirían que los llevaran al «hubiera»: ese país inexistente donde las palabras no dichas finalmente se pronuncian y los errores se disuelven.
Sin embargo, la verdadera crónica de nuestro viaje ocurre en lo tangible. Quizás solo necesitas que te lleven al aroma del café recién colado, al peso reconfortante de una mano amiga o al silencio necesario para escuchar tu propia voz. La vida es este vaivén entre el deseo de tocar las estrellas y la necesidad de sentir la hierba bajo los pies.
No te pierdas en la estratósfera, mi estimado lector. Aunque pidas un transporte hacia lo imposible, recuerda que el motor es tu voluntad y el combustible…, tus sueños más humanos. Se puede viajar a Júpiter desde la silla de tu escritorio, siempre que no olvides que son tus pasos reales los que construyen el camino. Sueña con lo eterno, pero camina con firmeza sobre el asfalto. Recuerden que el mejor destino es aquel en el que se encuentran más despiertos que nunca.
