The greatest secret to success in any endeavour or opportunity is not necessarily determined by the opportunity. Look at all the successful businesses today. Look at the companies, and tools or devices, or whatever inventions that are around. Facebook, Google, Apple, GLO, MTN, you name it, there is a face or there are faces behind all of them.
In other words, all these great enterprises have one thing in common. That common denominator is humans! Yes, you heard me right! The single most important factor to the success of any enterprise that you may be involved with is YOU. An opportunity is just a tool. You determine if you will succeed or not. If you put the right things in place success is guaranteed.
Now a side note. We cannot neglect the fact that the life we have is given to us by God. In which sense our overall confidence is not in ourselves but God. So we can't deny that is He the all and all.
Having said that, God has given you and I wisdom which if applied will bring positive results time and again.
Every so often when people see an opportunity, they are intimidated. They look at the work that's likely to be involved and just give up even before they launch. In their mind, they've seen themselves as incapable of making anything out of the opportunity.
They consider so many factors like capital, time, etc. Looking at themselves, they tell themselves they don't have such and don't even make any effort further.
What you tell yourself in the face of challenges is often critical to how you deal with the problems and will often determine if you will come out successful not.
Opportunities and challenges are there to be solved not to intimidate you. Let each opportunity help you bring out your hidden potential. Each opportunity is calling on you to look deep within and use your untapped potential.
This means if you will allow yourself to be challenged, every new venture you face will grow you as it will help you to discover hidden reserves you didn't know you had.
