Un hermoso recuerdo de "Salseo"// A beautiful souvenir of "Salseo"

Looking for a document in the computer I found images of when I started in Salsa Casino, so I thought I would tell you about it. In the school where I studied high school I participated in a dance group called "Salseo".
When I was in 3rd year the Stable Groups were created, although they were not "stable" hahahaha, they were extracurricular activities but at the time of being evaluated they counted as one more subject in the student's curriculum. My love for dance is very big, I want to learn different types of dance, so at that moment I did not think twice.
The enrollment was in pairs, I had to insist to my cousin to get in. I lasted almost two days begging him.

There were many students, too many I would say, Salsa Casino is danced in a wheel and as there were so many of us, two circles were made one inside the other, the big one was for the beginners and the small one was for those who already had some experience. The Stable Groups were dictated on Fridays and in ours there was rarely someone missing. Sometimes there were not enough gentlemen so I learned their steps and taught them to some of my classmates so that no one was left without dancing. I never sat still and always had a partner. I became known in the group, I used to teach those who asked me or those who required it.

Eventually our first presentation took place in my school, all the students, teachers and staff liked it very much. After that we had the privilege of participating in the graduation ceremony of the 1st year students. After some discussion we realized that we needed a name and from that "Salseo" was born. Since then we were invited to many places and we started to be well known in the area.

With the members of Salseo "Bachateo" was born (it was never given an official name), we went up a level, it was not only Salsa Casino, we also danced Bachata. With this I became more enthusiastic about dancing. I learned through the internet and also by watching other people.
My desire to dance increased with each figure I learned, at parties I used to dance Salsa Casino too hahahaha.

The last dance of the original Salseo group (as most of them graduated they continued with new members) was in the auditorium Juana Ramirez "La Avanzadora" in Maturin, Monagas. The invitation came from La Academia "Enartes", we had already performed there before but it was a little sad when it all ended.
It pleases me to remember how much I enjoyed with these people, they became part of my daily life for a short but very happy period, I would like to enjoy with them once again. As I write the silliest and craziest moments go through my mind, this was a great experience and I will continue to remember it with love and immense affection.
