Conejos y Escrúpulos
La hermana Ana tiene en su casa algunos conejos. La foto muestra unos que le nacieron hace pocos días. Está entusiasmada porque va a tener abundancia de carne para comer y para vender pues, según dicen, los bichitos se reproducen como conejos, o sea, muy rápido.
Me cuenta mi esposa que cuando los primeros animalitos de Ana alcanzaron la adultez, le dijo a su esposo que iba a preparar un rico fricasé de conejo, y le encomendó a él liquidar al primer candidato (aquí me imagino a los conejos levantando la mano).
El hombre mostraba demasiados escrúpulos para ejecutar aquella tarea; con el cuchillo en la mano se mantenía dando excusas. Ana se molestó, le quitó el cuchillo y de un solo toletazo le quitó la cabeza al conejo. Resulta que cuando salió el chorro de sangre el esposo se desmayó. Dice Ana que se vio en aprietos lidiando con la sangre del conejo y el esposo en el suelo. No sabía, hasta ese momento, que él padecía de pánico ante la sangre. Ahorita estoy leyendo que eso se llama hemofobia y sólo en algunos casos produce desmayos. Parece que el hombre pasó días con mareos y malestares, recordando aquella escena tan hermosa.
