Un árbol puro [ESP-ENG]

Familia de @motherhood nos encontramos en el mes de diciembre que para muchos niños significa celebrar con ilusión la magia de creer en algo con optimismo. Una época que hace brotar las mejores sonrisas en el rostro del niño para transmitir felicidad. Los niños dependiendo de la madurez y la cultura familiar desean participar en ayudar a los seres amados en muchas tareas para dar la bienvenida a la Navidad y una de ellas en mi caso es adornar el arbolito navideño. Este año pudimos reunir para comprar un modesto árbol en tamaño, pero con la fuerza gigante en hacer sonreír y brincar a mi hija de emoción.

Family of @motherhood we are in the month of December that for many children means to celebrate with illusion the magic of believing in something with optimism. A time that brings out the best smiles on a child's face to transmit happiness. Depending on the maturity and family culture, children want to participate in helping their loved ones in many tasks to welcome Christmas and one of them in my case is to decorate the Christmas tree. This year we were able to scrape together a modest tree in size, but with the giant strength to make my daughter smile and jump with excitement.

En Buenos Aires, Argentina existe un lugar que venden muchas cosas económicas; luego de observar y de evaluar el presupuesto le indicamos a Amanda que escogiera entre los árboles señalados; ella repetía "el blanco mami, blanco como las nubes, la nieve y la barba de Santa". Amanda actuó de manera pura en describir las razones entre lo bello del color y el significado cándido del mismo, creando una similitud consigo misma. Luego la dejamos elegir los colores para la decoración y muy segura nos respondió "azul y dorado porque son los colores favoritos tuyos, Mami", sentí a una hija empática y flexible en dejar a un lado sus gustos para complacerme. Me siento bendecida de tener una niña considerada como el color blanco del árbol; sin embargo, Amanda selecciona luces de múltiples colores porque el arcoiris para ella simboliza la integración, un árbol hermoso en donde todos somos luces.

In Buenos Aires, Argentina there is a place that sells many inexpensive things; after observing and evaluating the budget, we asked Amanda to choose among the trees indicated; she repeated "the white one mommy, white as the clouds, the snow and Santa's beard". Amanda acted purely in describing the reasons between the beauty of the color and the candid meaning of the color, creating a similarity with herself. Then we let her choose the colors for the decorations and she confidently replied "blue and gold because they are your favorite colors, Mommy", I felt an empathetic and flexible daughter in putting aside her tastes to please me. I feel gratified to have a child considered as the white color of the tree; however, the lights selected are of multiple colors because the rainbow for her symbolizes integration, a beautiful tree where we are all lights.

De regreso a la casa Amanda con las bolsas de compras estaba ansiosa por armar el árbol y decorarlo. Su mano apretaba fuerte mi mano para transmitir la emoción que sentía de tener el árbol blanco. Al llegar casa, Amanda empezó a armar el árbol con la ayuda de papi, ella no dejaba de parlotear del entusiasmo, luego se entretuvo en sacar los adornos, ahí aprovechamos en hacer correr las bolas de navidad con el fin que disfrutara del sonido que genera tranquilidad. También les informo que su padre la complació y le compró adornos de fieltros, los cuales adora. Decidimos colocar las luces primero, después indicarle cómo colocar los adornos; Amanda la embargaba la dicha de ser parte de una costumbre, compartir ideas y sobretodo la compañía al ritmo de canciones de navidad. Ella agradecida nos demostraba afecto con abrazos, besos y nos repetía "gracias, gracias, los amo" lo que demuestra la gratitud y pureza que la constituye.

Una vez adornado el árbol, la satisfacción de tener un espacio en el hogar destinado para que Amanda y todos podamos disfrutar de nuestra tradición, una práctica que rebosa el espíritu de la navidad. Emotiva porque mí hija hizo que recordara mis navidades de niña, por tanto, nuestro trabajo fue complacer ese interés personal que nos hace como padres renovar nuestra fe a través de actos generosos y de amor que invita a los involucrados de la familia a reflexionar que es necesario vivir en paz. El primer árbol blanco y la pureza de Amanda nos generó confianza en la vida, la unión familiar, agradecimiento y sobre que la navidad es un tiempo de renacer, respeto hacia sí mismo para valorar los triunfos y fracasos.

Back at the house Amanda with the shopping bags was anxious to set up the tree and decorate it. Her hand squeezed my hand tightly to convey the excitement she felt to have the white tree. When we got home, Amanda started to put up the tree with daddy's help, she kept chattering with excitement, then she took the time to take off the ornaments, then we took the opportunity to run the Christmas balls so she could enjoy the sound that generates tranquility. She also informed them that her father pleased her and bought her some felt ornaments, which she adores. We decided to place the lights first, then show her how to place the ornaments; Amanda was overwhelmed by the joy of being part of a custom, sharing ideas and above all the company to the rhythm of Christmas songs. She gratefully showed us affection with hugs, kisses and repeated "thank you, thank you, I love you" which shows the gratitude and purity that constitutes her.

Once the tree was decorated, the satisfaction of having a space in the home for Amanda and all of us to enjoy our tradition, a practice that exudes the spirit of Christmas. Emotional because my daughter made me remember my Christmas as a child, therefore, our job was to please that personal interest that makes us as parents renew our faith through generous acts and love that invites those involved in the family to reflect that it is necessary to live in peace. The first white tree and Amanda's purity generated confidence in life, family unity, gratitude and that Christmas is a time of self-respect to value triumphs and failures.
