Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, es un placer para mi estar nuevamente rockeand con ustedes en Pukumundo. Como cada semana disfruto mucho de este gran espacio de compartir musical y me emociona imaginar que grandes entradas traen los grandes artistas que he conocido gracias esta comunidad. Esta vez me encuentro un poco enferma, pues los cambios de temperatura han sido muy intensos en mi pueblo y esos cambios siempre afectan mi salud, pero nada que no se quite con té y buena música.

Para esta ocasión les he traído la canción “Siempre estas allí” de los más grandes de toda España “Barón Rojo”. Esta canción es una de mis favoritas, espero poder tocarla un día con la compañía de mi querida @jetta.amaya, por ahora solo les presento mi humilde versión instrumental, en mi amada guitarra acústica.

Esta canción me recuerda mi adolescencia, cuando era una rebelde sin causa e iba al colegio con todo mi atuendo full metalera y mis audífonos a todo volumen. Se dice fácil, pero siendo mujer, joven y metalera tuve que enfrentar varias formas de discriminación en un pueblo retrogrado y perdido en el tiempo. Pero sobreviví y no me arrepiento de nada, aún vivo en el mismo lugar desde hace 20 años y la gente aún me reprocha eso tiempo en los que era “rara”.

Pero bien, ahora entiendo que son procesos culturales y que los grupos sociales siempre van a sentirse amenazados por aquello que no encaja en sus forma de vida y naturalmente desarrollan mecanismos de defensa. Sin embargo no me arrepiento de nada, mis años de metalera fueron geniales y aún tengo mucho del estilo heavy a la hora de vestir y escoger mi música.

“Siempre estas allí” es una hermosa canción, con una letra increíble y una melodía de otro mundo, se publicó en el álbum “Metalmorfosis” en 1983. Les dejo la letra como siempre para que disfruten de esta gran composición. Hasta la próxima.

The Singing Voice WEEK #62 / Siempre estas allí / Cover (English/Spanish)

A friendly greeting dear Hivers, it's a pleasure for me to be rocking with you again in Pukumundo. As every week I enjoy very much this great space of musical sharing and I am excited to imagine what great entries bring the great artists I have met thanks to this community. This time I am a little sick, because the temperature changes have been very intense in my town and those changes always affect my health, but nothing that can't be removed with tea and good music.

For this occasion I have brought you the song "Siempre estas allí" from the greatest Spanish band "Barón Rojo". This song is one of my favorites, I hope to play it one day with the company of my dear @jetta.amaya, for now I just present you my humble instrumental version, on my beloved acoustic guitar.

This song reminds me of my adolescence, when I was a rebel without a cause and went to school with my full metal outfit and my headphones blaring. It's easy to say, but being a woman, young and a metalhead I had to face several forms of discrimination in a retrograde town lost in time. But I survived and I don't regret anything, I still live in the same place since 20 years ago and people still reproach me for those times when I was "weird".

But well, now I understand that these are cultural processes and that social groups will always feel threatened by what does not fit their way of life and naturally develop defense mechanisms. I don't regret anything though, my metal years were great and I still have a lot of the heavy style when it comes to dressing and choosing my music.

"Siempre estas ahí" is a beautiful song, with amazing lyrics and an otherworldly melody, it was released on the album "Metalmorphosis" in 1983. I leave the lyrics as always for you to enjoy this great composition. See you next time.
