Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, es un placer para mi estar nuevamente compartiendo en Open mic, sobre todo esta semana que el anfitrión es el grandísimo @fernanblog y la temática no podría ser otra que “My Original Song”. En realidad no soy de componer, lo hice mucho cuando estaba joven pero deje todo eso atrás y no volví a intentarlo, me he dedicado por muchos años a interpretar canciones y listo. Pero esta iniciativa me remueve muchas cosas, desde que la leí me puse en Modo: pensativa.

Así que recordé una canción que compuse hace muchos años, cuando uno de los géneros que más escuchaba era el DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal) el título es “Días felices” como un pequeño homenaje a “Happy Days” una de mis bandas favoritas en el género. Por lo general las canciones de DSBM son tristes y monótonas, la letra no tiene mucho contenido, solo expresan diferentes formas de tristeza, depresión y odio por la humanidad. Claro que ya no me identifico mucho con estas ideas pero hubo un tiempo en el que sí y esta música me acompaño sin ningún tipo de juicio o cuestionamiento.

Ahora tengo una forma muy diferente de pensar, sin embargo creo que las melodías de DSBM son muy hermosas. Así que me pareció ideal traerles este tema que de alguna manera reúne a esa chica atormentada que fui con la persona que soy ahora, pues a pesar de que la había compuesto hace años tuve que reconstruirla para esta semana, ya que hacía mucho que no la tocaba. Fue una experiencia maravillosa, agradezco este espacio de creación y espero les guste mi humilde composición.

Hive Open Mic WEEK 161 // Días felices // Original song @aly.squid (English/Spanish)

A friendly greeting dear Hivers, it is a pleasure for me to be again sharing in Open mic, especially this week that the host is the great @fernanblog and the theme could not be other than "My Original Song". I'm not really a composer, I did it a lot when I was young but I left all that behind and never tried it again, I have dedicated myself for many years to perform songs and that's it. But this initiative moves me a lot of things, since I read it I was in a thoughtful mode.

So I remembered a song I composed many years ago, when one of the genres I most listened to was DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal) the title is "Happy Days" as a small tribute to "Happy Days" one of my favorite bands in the genre. Usually DSBM songs are sad and monotonous, the lyrics don't have much content, they just express different forms of sadness, depression and hatred for humanity. Of course I don't identify much with these ideas anymore but there was a time when I did and this music accompanied me without any kind of judgment or questioning.

Now I have a very different way of thinking, however I think DSBM's melodies are very beautiful. So I thought it was ideal to bring you this song that somehow brings together that tormented girl I was with the person I am now, because even though I had composed it years ago I had to reconstruct it for this week, since I had not played it for a long time. It was a wonderful experience, I am grateful for this space of creation and I hope you like my humble composition.

Es una melodía bien melancólica... Creo que todos hemos tenido momentos en donde estamos mal y ese tipo de pensamientos brotan de nosotros, me alegra que ya hayas salido de eso, sin embargo, esa etapa no fue del todo mala. Al menos es lo que puedo observar escuchando este bonito tema que nos traes.

Pienso que todas las etapas que he vivido las he abrazado y aprendido de las mismas, en esa época aprendí mucho de mí y conocí entre muchas cosas bandas increíbles del género, pero como lo dije en el post esa chicaquedo allá y ahora ya abrazo otras cosas sin olvidar lo que fui. Sabia que serias capaz de lograr algo como esto, demasiado hermosa esta composición, me recordó mucho a las composiciones de AKIRA YAMAOKA, de SILENT HILL, mientras escuchaba iba construyendo en mi cerebro todo lo que le podría meter para que este tema sea aun mas profundo, te felicito 🤗❤

No sabía de ese nombre para esas melodías, pero si, se me ha hecho hermosa y de hecho la escucharía bastante. De cierta forma soy medio adicta a la nostalgia y esto me ha conectado con ella. Un abrazo
