La voz cantante WEEK #57 / Peter Pan / Cover (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, es una placer estar nuevamente rockeando con ustedes en pukumundo. Para esta semana les traigo una hermosa canción de la banda española “El canto del loco” estoy habla de “Peter Pan”. Este tema fue publicado en el 2008 en el álbum “Personas” que vendría siendo el último de la agrupación antes de separarse.

Si bien esta no es una de mis bandas de pop/rock favorita, sin duda tiene canciones muy buenas, que siempre han formado parte de mi lista de reproducción. “Peter Pan” en especial, me parece una canción muy hermosa, no solo musicalmente, también su letra sensible y nostálgica que nos conduce por los caminos de la infancia que todos llevamos dentro.

De hecho su nombre “Peter Pan” hace alusión a ese personaje maravilloso que nunca dejo de ser niño. Pero lo cierto es que la vida nos arranca disruptivamente de la niñez y cuando nos damos cuenta ya estamos atropellados por el sistema y sus remolinos. Pocas veces nos dedicamos un tiempo para hacer lo que nos gustaba, pocas veces nos damos un espacio para reír y jugar. Dejamos de asombrarnos por las pequeñas y simples cosas, y el amor se nos vuelve un drama insoportable.

Esta canción para mí, es un pequeño viaje en el tiempo, donde visito a la niña que fui, la abrazo y me dejo abrazar por ella, porque allá en mi infancia perdida la vida duele un poquito menos. Espero les guste esta humilde versión instrumental, también les dejo la letra para que la disfruten tanto como yo.

A friendly greeting dear Hivers, it's a pleasure to be rocking with you again in pukumundo. For this week I bring you a beautiful song of the Spanish band "El canto del loco" I'm talking about "Peter Pan". This song was released in 2008 in the album "Personas", which was the last album of the band before they split up.

While this is not one of my favorite pop/rock bands, they certainly have some very good songs, which have always been part of my playlist. "Peter Pan" in particular, I find a very beautiful song, not only musically, but also its sensitive and nostalgic lyrics that lead us down the paths of the childhood we all carry inside.

In fact its name "Peter Pan" alludes to that wonderful character who never stopped being a child. But the truth is that life rips us disruptively from childhood and when we realize we are already run over by the system and its whirlpools. Rarely do we take time to do what we liked, rarely do we give ourselves space to laugh and play. We stop being amazed by the small and simple things, and love becomes an unbearable drama.

This song for me, is a little trip back in time, where I visit the little girl I was, I hug her and I let myself be hugged by her, because back in my lost childhood life hurts a little less.
