Come with me along Schaffhausen

For today also a picturesque city with well preserved medieval old town, near the amazing Rhine Falls, Europe largest waterfall, above the majestic fortress Munot which overlooks the city, I have already made a post.

The Schwabentor gate is the gateway to the old town and it was first documented about 1361.

As you stroll around the old town, you will see many Gothic and Baroque facades and interesting fountains as well as the architecture from houses with beautiful oriels, which are said to have around 170 oriels only in the old town.
