A history copy of Trajan's Column

Trajan's Column in Rome, the exhibition occupies a special place among the exhibits of great historical National Museum in bucharest of Romanian History, the original pieces contains 18 massive blocks of Carrara marble, each weighing 40 tonnes.

The column was inaugurated on 12 May 113 AD and is still preserved today in the Forum of Trajan in Rome. It is a masterpiece of Roman sculptors at the height of the Roman Empire's territorial expansion under the rule of Trajan. The copy was made between 1934 and 1940 in Vatican, the work being delayed because of the Second World War an was brought to Bucharest only in 1967.

So interesting and such cool details

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
