Hello Hive friends,

I am back once again after a few months of hiatus. There were lots of things I got busy with offline and my 24 hours each day is not enough to cover everything. I am glad to be here again as I miss you all and the activities we do here. Before the year 2021 ends, I usually make a blog about my preparations for the NYE celebration.

We make do with what is readily available this year. Some people are still struggling with their finances as we are still being plagued by the current virus. We do look forward though to a more resilient year ahead and hoping that we can recover from this really quick. Here on my photo I have a few gifts ready for the gift giving later tonight. I thought there would be no long queues in the stores but I was wrong. Most of us do our shopping online nowadays but the stores are still full with busy people going in circles.

I do not know about you, but here in the Philippines we buy fruits with round shape for prosperity and the number should be 12. This year I only have these pomelos. It should be 12 different fruits but this is all I can grab. Do you guys have anything similar that you prepare during NYE for prosperity sake? Share them below.

Our NYE is not complete without a grilled meat. When we were young we love hotdog on sticks, this year we have this yellow fin. My brother tried this for the first time hope it will be delicious.

There are some guests who will be arriving and they like grilled pork belly. My daughter is in charge of the preparation. They are almost ready here and tonight we will grill them as we welcome the new year.

That is it for now. We will be very busy and most of us will but I am glad I was able make this post before the celebration. Until next time.
