Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.

Today, I will share my progress in GOW Ragnarok, which I am playing in the highest difficulty just for the fun of it. I like the challenge myself with tough games, and this game was a good choice as the side-mission bosses are the real menace.

Without further ado, let's begin!

The squad made it past an army of white elves until they reached a room where the light of Alfheim was projected out to the 9 realms.

Kratos went closer to the light as he remembered that he had once entered here and heard his wife, Faye, call toward him. Atreus stopped him and told him that she was gone. Kratos explained to Tyr that he once went inside the light and felt only moments had passed, while Atreus rescued him after quite some time as he valiantly defended himself. Tyr was more surprised to learn that his mind was not incinerated after he had entered the light.

They passed through the empty lobby where the hive materials were present the last time and entered the shrine. They saw the prophecy of Ragnarok again. They found that Tyr was the one fighting in Ragnarok, leading the armies of Hell, the armies of Elves, and all other realms.

But this time, they were surprised to see something new unfold. They saw that the fall of Asgard did not mean the end of everything but only the end of Asgardians and the death of Odin. The other realms? They thrived! Tyr was visibly perplexed while Mimir exclaimed that Groa lied about the prophecy and that Odin was working off a false prophecy.

Atreus was super excited about him being the champion of the Jotnar, as he thought he was the one who would lead the armies beside Tyr, as Loki's story had prophesied. Kratos would not allow such a thing, and before he protested, Atreus diverted the attention toward their next goal while Tyr was still looking at the prophecy, still perplexed to see that Odin really dies and that he would have to fight him.
With that being said, Atreus left the room while Kratos, Mimir, and Tyr had a little chat.

They made their way through the lobby before we got ambushed and had to kill a bunch of white Elves. Kratos finished most of them off, but Tyr made use of an unconscious elf to make a bridge of light. While they were crossing it, the elf came to consciousness and leaped off the bridge after it cut off its own legs. The result: Kratos and Atreus fell into the lake of souls. Kratos bolted after his son and threw his Blade toward Tyr. All while Mimir was submerged with no breath drawn XD.

Tyr slowly pulled them up and gained Kratos's gratitude after not being of use in battle all this time. The party made their way toward the exit door of Alfheim while the elves were having a full-on war.

That is it for today. We ventured quite a bit. I am stoked to see where they end up the next time they travel to a realm. Would Freya join them?
