Is a big dip dangerous?

Hi,

following my post from yesterday, that can be read here, I want to go further in debating, how a dip can affect the crypto world.

We've seen at the last dips that a big portion of the people left, disappointed, without wanting to hear anything more about crypto.

This time, I see a lot more people flooding in, with big dreams and hopes for a better life. Yes, crypto can give this, but only with one remark, it takes time and patience.

The ones of us, who have a cycle behind, need to show the newcomers that there will be dips, big dips, humongous dips, which will definitely happen, as the crypto market is not mature enough, and it is still very sensitive to external attacks. It will take a couple of more cycles, till we have a mass adaption, that can fight attacks naturally, by simple market needs and rules.

The danger that I see, is that now the possibility of people mass leaving is higher as there are more people and the snowball effect can impact a lot of them and this can spread the news and slow people down on joining.

As we know, that it will happen, we need to teach them and prepare for it. Not panicking or an apocalypse preparation, but a sane one, with taking some profit, at least with taking the invested part out, diversification into different projects, some strong mid term position on BTC, as it is the powerhouse of crypto. Just not selling under pressure, as the FOMO is sometimes deadly for the portfolio.

How do you see it? Do you see the next big as dangerous as I see it? What countermeasures would you take?

Well even if it is more bigger, I don't mind. I have a set plan and in crypto, I tend to buy things more for the long term. I am not going to care too much about the short term fluctuations.
