#AskLeo - how do you invest?

Hi,

for the #AskLeo of today, the # tag by @acesontop, I want to ask you a simple question, how do you invest? Do you invest in projects, or in people, or a combination of both?

The question is easy, the answer is complicated.

As I'm the person asking, I will be the first to answer it. Like said, it is complicated.

Five years ago, I was investing in projects and the potential win, without checking the background very deep and without analysing the team behind. Luckily, without losing that much, I've changed my approach. Luckily for me, as that approach might be good for others, it was not for me.

Now, after a lot of learnings, I do research a lot, but the main deciding factor are the people behind. The project might be flawless, but if I don't trust the people behind, I won't invest in it. For example, I don't have any fb shares, even if they are very lucrative.

As in here, if one checks my accounts with the investments, will see a clear pattern, that I'm buying in projects that have a solid person or team behind, with a very good track record and that delivers. As a hint, I'm growing, splinterlands, leo, HE tokens, SPI, LBI, SEED and some others and not in this particular order, as I think the project have a solid base, a growth mentality, and a person or team behind that delivers and is focused on the target.

Just do your due diligence, I would say.

So, how do you invest? What makes you chose a project over another?

My sole experience with investing is related to crypto. Most of my investments in here have been based on intuition though. My largest holding is LINK and I don't even know exactly what it does...
