Monolepta Beetle

Today I would like to share the leaf beetle species I discovered this afternoon in the Meurah Mulia area, North Aceh, Indonesia. It is Monolepta, a genus of skeletonizing leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae.

This type of beetle may often be found in the pumpkin plant variant. And the symptoms of this beetle attack are located on the leaves of the plant which have several holes from the bite of the Monolepta beetle. Below are some of the photos.
