LIL - Contribution to LMAC: Oxyopes salticus Spider

This is my contribution for LMAC

Back again with me on contributions to LMAC, and in this post I want to share some photos of spiders that I found yesterday at my usual location looking for photo objects in the forest or bushes in the interior of Aceh, Indonesia. And the spider I mean is Oxyopes salticus, which is a species of spider in the Oxyopidae family.

This spider is not like the jumping spider species that often make nests in wood or even in houses. Instead it prefers a variety of plants to find its prey. From my experience, some of them I found in various wild plants and some of them use their webs to trap their prey. Here are some photos, hope you are interested and like it :)

Hi @alexa-macro visiting your post. Admiring your macro photographs of spiders of the genus Oxyopes sp.. Wow, wow you visualize the details very well, I am fascinated. The Oxyopidae family, are characterized by long spines on their legs. They are very well appreciated in your photos as well as the prosoma and opisthosoma. Nice work, congratulations. Happy week.
