On this occasion I would like to again to share some interesting insect shots for all photography lovers in this community. Some of the photos that I share are macro photos of insects, and I got them while hunting insects in the forest two days ago.

Currently the area where I live is in the dry season, so the grass starts to dry or doesn't grow as usual. So that the insect ecosystem is a little disturbed because considering that several species of insects live there and even make grass as their main food. And that's also the reason why I'm only sharing two species of insects at this opportunity, because to get more species now is very difficult.

The first insect is an insect from the order Hemiptera, an insect with the scientific name Riptortus linearis is a species of true bug from the Alydidae family. In Aceh (Indonesia), this insect species from the Alydidae family is still classified in the "geusong" class, the general name for this type of stink bug insect.

In general, these insects are pests and even some of them are major pests for rice plants. This is certainly a frightening specter for grain farmers if they get this pest attack in the heavy category. The solution is that farmers will choose to use insecticides to spray on rice plants. So that the number of insects that become pests is more controlled. Conversely, if farmers do not spray insecticides, there will be a risk of crop failure or the number of harvests is not as productive as expected.

The Riptortus linearis itself is also included in the category of quite wild insects. When I take pictures, I can spend quite some time as the insects are constantly moving from one leaf to another. Luckily at the location where I was hunting there were lots of Riptortus linearis there. So when I lose one Riptortus linearis I can find another Riptortus linearis.

And as most people know, if this one insect has a mainstay when it feels threatened. What's that? Yeah.. Of course they will emit a liquid with a very strong odor. The smell will certainly make our nose uncomfortable. If it gets on your hands or clothes, it seems like you have to rush to wash your hands and change clothes :)

Then there is the genus of scarab beetles, this beetle with the Latin name Cyclocephala comes from the Scarabaeidae family. There is something interesting about this beetle, besides its charming color, this beetle also has two wings that look like they are coated with transparent glass. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take many photos of this beetle, this is because the scarab beetle didn't want to linger with me, but instead chose to go with its two wings :)
