FungiFriday - Gymnopilus underwoodii

Hello Everyone..

This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

It's been a week that it hasn't rained, I don't know for sure if this is a sign that the season has begun to change from the rainy season to the dry season. If so, then this is something that is less friendly for mushroom hunters.

As we know mushrooms will easily grow in humid places and this will happen in a shady place under a large tree or during the rainy season, some branches and rotting plant trees will continue to be wet so that it will become fertile land for the growth of mushrooms. But when the dry season arrives, of course looking for mushrooms will be increasingly difficult because not all types of mushrooms can grow during the dry season.

However, if you are a mushroom hunter you will certainly not give up looking for mushrooms even if it's not the rainy season, and the vast nature will definitely leave some places for mushrooms to grow, I believe that :)

As for this week's #FungiFriday issue, I share a photo of the fungus Gymnopilus underwoodii is a species of agaric fungus in the family Strophariaceae. Here are some photos:
