This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

Even though it's still the dry season, we should be grateful because a few days ago it rained quite heavily. Of course this brings blessings to all, especially to some people who have started to experience complaints of a lack of clean water because their wells are starting to dry up.

Other blessings continue for livestock which also need fresh grass, also for plants that are starting to get thirsty, they also need adequate sources of water especially such as durian, rambutan and other plants which are now starting to flower in the area where I live.

As for myself, thanks to the rain, I was able to find the fungus Gymnopilus luteofolius that grows on rotting coconut trunks. This beautiful mushroom with a purplish color has a characteristic characteristic of its umbrella that looks like rust. Gymnopilus luteofolius is a fungus from the Hymenogastraceae family and here are some photos of it:

Then the two photos below are still of the same mushroom and I found it growing in the same place too. It shows that when it is young, the Gymnopilus luteofolius mushroom is purplish in color while when it is fully bloomed the color changes to a more yellowish color.
