I have been to Refrontolo in the province of Treviso to be precise at Molinetto della Croda.

The thing that left me speechless is that I thought it was somewhere else, so when I arrived it was an incredible surprise!

Attivo fino al 1953, venne poi abbandonato fino agli anni Novanta quando iniziarono i lavori di recupero e di restauro che hanno ripristinato la struttura e il funzionamento dell'antica macina.

The mill is immersed in a natural landscape that enchants and presents itself to the public as a house-museum which, in addition to handing down the history of milling and the territory, hosts exhibitions and art exhibitions of all kinds. The day I visited there was an exhibition of nativity scenes, am it was almost dark and it was freezing, so I didn't visit it.

Il mulino è immerso in un paesaggio naturale che incanta e si presenta al pubblico come una casa-museo che, oltre a tramandare la storia della molitura e del territorio, ospita esibizioni e mostre d'arte di ogni tipo. Il giorno che l'ho visitato c'era una mostra di presepi, am era quasi buio e faceva freddissimo, quindi non l'ho visitata.

All around the Molinetto area there are naturalistic itineraries and paths, it is certainly an area with potential. Furthermore, in the period from March to the end of October, it is possible to stop and organize packed lunches in the equipped areas outside the structure and in covered places in case of bad weather.

Tutt'attorno la zona del Molinetto si aprono itinerari naturalistici e sentieri, è sicuramente una zona con del potenziale. Inoltre, nel periodo da marzo a fine ottobre, è possibile sostare e organizzare pranzi al sacco nelle aree attrezzate all'esterno della struttura e in luoghi coperti in caso di maltempo.

I went up the road to take some photos from above, I will definitely be back in spring, it is truly a magical place, I recommend it!
