The flight of the stork - Photo Compilation

Hi all :)

The initial idea was to photograph a set of completely degraded buildings that stood out among the vegetation due to a huge chimney that rose towards the sky, and by the way in apparently good condition.
Not everything is as it seems, but in this case, unless some purposeful initiative demolishes it, it will remain there for a long time.
So off i went towards the place, always with the chimney serving as a point of reference, peeking over the tops of the trees without ever losing visual contact.

Already facing the building, i was getting ready to go a little further, to analyze whether the conditions on the ground provided enough security to be able to enter and obtain some more detailed perspectives, when i saw her approaching and making a first failed landing at the top of the chimney, and it was at that moment, when the flight continued in a circular trajectory, that i realized that she would try to land again, giving me time to pull out the camera, point and record all the action that followed.
It was all very sudden.

On the second attempt, the stork managed to land there and stayed there.
From down here, even looking through the lens, i couldn't tell if there was already a nest there, but checking the photos i don't think so.
These birds love to make their nests in high places, so that would certainly be a point of interest, based on what happened next.
The first stork had not yet settled in comfortably and out of nowhere a second stork appeared which in a clumsy way headed towards the top of the chimney and also tried to land there, but was immediately expelled by the first stork.
However, a third appeared and from the air they tried a few more unsuccessful landings and ended up continuing the flight out of there.
At the top of the chimney, only one, the first to arrive and the only one to stay, the queen of the piece :)
And guess what, i recorded all this action that i share with you today, right away.
Hope you like it

Beautifully captured. As they always say, early birds get the worm. In this case, she gets the chimney 😁
