Some more Rustic - Black and White Version

avatar

Hi everyone
Here we go with one more entry to the #monomad challenge :)

Even in a rustic environment, it is possible to view different architectures and states of conservation. It was during one of these routes crossing through the middle of a small village there, on the sides of Arouca, that I registered the photos I share today, and I chose these 2 to demonstrate that.

Although the two houses are inhabited, one of them is in a mediated state of decomposition while the other house is in a superb state after an impeccable restoration, maintaining all the characteristic of rustic architecture.

The material with which these houses are built, with granite extracted from the surrounding mountains, allow their structure to remain on high for many years due to the robustness of their construction.

Imagine that a tornado passed here, the most likely would be that the entire surrounding scenery would change with the exception of these small buildings that would remain fixed in place.

Now without further ado, let's get down to business.

Hope you like it

That's a really cool looking building. What's really interesting is that I don't even see any mortar between the rock; it looks like it's just a straight up rock building.
