Macro Photography Session | Round Green Vs Dry Orange

COVER.jpg

Hello everybody :)

Back for another one of those milestone homemade photography sessions, carried out in an indoor space, controlled with artificial light and a base made of light and soft fabric, which is sufficient, in order to provide the necessary roughness so that the objects to be photographed do not slide on the floor surface so as to be out of the necessary focusing range, which in itself is quite complicated, due to the tactic used.

As you can see below and even in the results of previous sessions, although it is possible to obtain minimally interesting results and it is possible to visualize details that go completely unnoticed with the naked eye, it is still possible to verify that this is an amateur test and that the The focusing area becomes extremely reduced as you zoom in.
But ahead, if you have the opportunity to follow the previous sessions, you will realize that i ran out of objects to photograph and had to move to the middle of the mountain to collect some species of plants, bark, rocks and even dried fruits, which i keep in a small case as i use it.
Today i chose to combine two species of plants that ended up complementing each other in their visual composition, having distinct characteristics starting with details, shape and tone.
I think the result meets the minimum requirements, not only due to the natural architecture inherent to each species, but also due to the visual composition that was possible to obtain from their combination.
Below i present the central topic of the session:

Before moving onto the result...
  • My introductory thoughts about macro photography:

It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.

Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.

Let's now move onto the result:

It ended up resulting in a session with a marked reduction in neutral tones, contrary to what was seen in previous sessions, standing out for the greenish and orange notes that mix and result from the mixture of the two different species of plants, with the contrast of the stage also evident in the record made, with one of the species in a phase of vitality and development and the other in an initial phase of decomposition.
The different tones were obtained through different positions of the light point present.

The session is closed for today.
Hope you like it :)
