Hello everyone :)

On top of the beautiful experience i share below, i had the privilege to experienced it during the golden hour :P
Lindoso is a picturesque old village located in the north of Portugal. It is a charming place that boasts of its rich history and culture.
As you walk through the village, you'll be greeted by the charming countryside scenery, including rolling hills, lush green forests, and beautiful streams. The houses and buildings in the village are also made of granite stone, which gives the village a rustic feel that is truly authentic.
The most remarkable feature of Lindoso is its collection of old granaries made of granite stone, composed of about 60 units, one of the largest clusters of its kind in the entire Iberian Peninsula. These granaries are a unique and beautiful sight to behold, and a visit to Lindoso is not complete without exploring them.
The granaries, which date back to XVIII and XIX centuries, are one of the most notable sights in Lindoso. They are small structures that were used to store grain and other food items. Some walls of the granaries are made of wooden slatted, and the roofs are typically made of stone.
These granaries are a testament to the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the people who built them centuries ago.
In conclusion, a visit to Lindoso is a must-do for anyone looking to explore the north of Portugal. This charming old village is a hidden gem that is full of history, culture, and beauty. The old granaries made of granite stone are a highlight of the village, and they are a beautiful reminder of the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the people who lived there centuries ago. Whether you are interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to explore, Lindoso is the perfect destination.

These are the most interesting things I see today. The engineering and unique architecture of the granaries are superb! It's amazing how ancient people were able to built this one.
Kudos to the people of Lindoso-Portugal for preserving such richness in the past.!

I've never seen anything like this before, if you didn't say I'd never guess that they are granaries! Do you know how old they are?
Indeed :) In fact, these are quite peculiar and quite resistant :) according to the historical record, they were built between the 18th and 19th centuries, really well preserved for the years they already have :)
Thank you for stopping by, cheers :)
