But what happens when we are full of material gifts and what we need is someone to listen to us, someone to laugh with, someone to talk to? Many times we don't even have time to sit down to have lunch with our relatives and we think "there will be time", "tomorrow if I do it...", but that tomorrow never comes. So we keep postponing everything for another time, leading a life on the run like runaway foals because the multiple commitments prevent us from sharing with them, finding a thousand excuses not to love and living in constant stress.
Without realizing it over the years we have been acclimatized to technology, we live immersed in our computer devices, cell phones, networks, etc., many times we do not even notice who is sitting next to us because our attention is fully on the cell phone. We lead a virtual life almost 95% thinking that there is still time to do many things without stopping to think that time passes and never forgives as the song says.

When was the last time you had a pleasant conversation with your parents? When was the last time you had an ice cream with your child or went out to play in the park?.... And what about those friends we miss so much and with whom we like to chat for a while? It is time to reflect on all that we give and think that the best gift we can give to a person is time, because material things are still superfluous things; on the other hand, the affective, the spiritual remains and enlarges our soul.
Pay attention to what you are going to give and do not let life pass you by without giving you and your family moments of great sentimental value, because love knows no time, it is always time to love and the best gift is time.
