Hello to all the strong and determined women of this community, it is a pleasure to be writing again here in this new chapter that brings us this 2022🎉. Here is my participation for the 65th edition of the Ladies of Hive contest, where we are encouraged every week to answer two questions. On this occasion I decided to answer the second one, so without further ado I will proceed to answer.☺️
Hola a todas las mujeres fuertes y decididas de esta comunidad, es un placer estar escribiendo de nuevo aquí en este nuevo capítulo que nos trae este 2022🎉. Aquí escribo mi participación para la edición número 65 del concurso de Ladies of Hive, donde nos incentivan cada semana a responder dos preguntas. En esta ocasión me decidí por la segunda, así que sin más preámbulo procederé a responder.☺️
Well it's very simple, my username is @albamarina, and it alludes to my two names. I must be honest when I was a kid I didn't like my name very much, I thought it was lame. Then I found out that they were chosen by my dad, in a somewhat curious way, in the search for names to give to the future member of the family (me), my mom was thinking of naming me after one of my grandmothers and my dad's younger sister who had died when I was just a little girl. But my dad refused and declared that he didn't want his daughter to be named after deceased relatives and one day he woke up from a dream and simply said, her name will be Alba Marina, my mom liked it and well that's how I stayed hahaha. This anecdote didn't really make me change my mind, I still didn't like my name. 😂
Bueno es muy simple mi usuario es @albamarina, y hace alusión a mis dos nombres. Debo ser sincera cuando era niña no me gustaba mucho mi nombre me parecía que no tenía gracia alguna. Luego me enteré que fueron elegidos por mi papá, en una manera un tanto curiosa, en la búsqueda de nombres para colocarle al futuro integrante de la familia, es decir a mi, mi mamá pensaba colocarme el nombre en honor a una de mis abuelas y la hermana menor de mi papá que había fallecido cuando era apenas una niña. Pero mi papá se negó y declaró que no quería que su hija llevara el nombre de familiares fallecidos y un día se despertó de un sueño y simplemente dijo, su nombre será Alba Marina, a mi mamá le gustó y bueno así quedé jajaja. Está anécdota realmente no me hizo cambiar de opinión de igual forma no me gustaba mi nombre 😂.
However as I was growing up I started to like it and I realized that it was not very common that combination, at least in my circle I never met someone called like that. So when I created my username I wanted something that identified me as an individual and had a symbolic meaning and what better than my name right? So I decided to use it and to my luck it was available, and that's it, that's the story hahaha.
Sin embargo medida que iba creciendo me comenzó a gustar y me di cuenta que no era muy común esa combinación, por lo menos en mi círculo nunca conocí a alguien llamado así. Entonces cuando creé mi usuario quería algo que me identificara como individuo y tuviera un significado simbólico y que mejor que mi nombre cierto? Así que decidí usarlo y para mi suerte estaba disponible, y eso es todo, esa es la historia jajaja.

Por un momento pensé tu nombre había sido escogido por el personaje de una novela venezolana que pasaron hace muchos años en la tv. Realmente es hermoso y va con tus características físicas y sabes me recuerda al color aguamarina que representa un psicológicamente la sensación de tranquilidad, Fuerza y profundidad. Actually no, my father didn't think that hard 😂 my mom was the one who came up with the ideas but at the end he just had a dream and woke up saying that name, the weirdest thing is that he doesn't remember what was the dream about lol
