Do you know the phrase: connect with nature?
I am 100% sure that if you know the phrase, and at some point in life you have made that connection with nature. Being in that moment where you only hear the sounds that come from mother earth, whether in the mountains or in the sea, is a totally pleasant feeling.

What I have just described is what I wanted to capture in this drawing, that moment, where nothing matters more than being in total connection with a natural world outside of our reality.

¿Conoces la frase: conectar con la naturaleza?

Estoy 100% seguro que si la conoces y en algún momento de la vida lo has hecho, estar en ese momento en donde solo escuchas los sonidos que provienen de la madre tierra, ya sea en la montaña o en el mar, es una sensación totalmente placentera.

Esto que acabo de describir es lo que quise plasmar en este dibujo, ese momento, en donde nada importa más que estar en conexión total con un mundo natural fuera de nuestra realidad.

The reason for this drawing?
Believe me or not, I made this drawing to participate in day twenty-six (26) of Inktober 2021, where the theme was the word CONNECT.

The Inktober themes are supposed to be done in the month of October, but I tell you that I am taking this very relaxed, at the time of making this drawing it was already in the month of January 2022, and as of the date of this publication I still have 4 days to finish it.

¿El motivo de este dibujo?
Aunque no me creas, este dibujo lo hice para participar en el día veintiseis (26) del Inktober 2021, en donde el tema era la palabra CONNECT, que al español traduce CONECTAR.

Se supone que los temas del Inktober se deben hacer en el mes de octubre, pero les digo que estoy tomando esto muy relajado, al momento de hacer este dibujo ya estaba en el mes de enero 2022, y a la fecha de esta publicación aún me faltan 4 días para terminarlo.

The Sketch:

I made a preliminary sketch on a sheet of recycled white bond paper, a quick and easy sketch to capture the idea of ​​connection with nature that I had.

Later I would do the drawing again on a card for fine-grained 180gr/m2 watercolors.

El Boceto:
Hice un boceto preliminar en una hoja de papel bond blanca de reciclaje, un boceto rápido y sencillo para plasmar la idea de conexión con la naturaleza que tenía.

Posteriormente haría de nuevo el dibujo en una cartula para acuarelas base 180gr/m2 grano fino.

I made the same drawing twice, and as much as I wanted, the drawings were not the same, each one has its own peculiarity and they took different paths, you will see why I am telling you.

Hice dos veces el mismo dibujo, y por más que quise, no quedaron iguales, cada uno tiene su propia particularidad, y tomaron vías diferentes, ya verán el porque de esto que les digo.

The Inking:

I started inking for the sound equipment, I think it's part of the attraction center of the composition of the drawing. I did the inking with a 0.5mm MICRON brand black pen.

El Entintado:
Comencé a entintar por el equipo de sonido, creo que es parte del centro de atracción de la composición del dibujo. El entintado lo hice con un estilógrafo negro marca MICRON DE 0.5mm.

After the sound equipment I started with the headphones, the cable that connects the headphones to the tree and the girl's hair. It was quite an experience to color this girl's hair.

Después del equipo de sonido comencé con los audífonos, el cable que une los audífonos al árbol y el cabello de la chica. Fue toda una experiencia entintar el cabello.

Now let's color

I focused so much on the inking that I didn't take any more photos of this part, much less when I started coloring with watercolors and wood colors.

Ahora vamos a colorear
Me concentré tanto en el entintado que no tomé mas fotos de esta parte, y mucho menos de cuando empecé a colorear con acuarelas y colores de madera.

• White sheet of recycled letter bond paper (initial sketch)
• Cardboard for watercolors 23 x 30.5 cm, 180gr/m2, fine grain
• School pencil, eraser and sharpener
• Black MICRON brand 0.5mm fountain pen
• Watercolors
• PRISMACOLOR wood colors
• markers of different colors

MATERIALES UTILIZADOS:

• Hoja blanca papel bond carta reciclada (boceto inicial)
• Cartulina para acuarelas 23 x 30.5 cm, 180gr/m2, grano fino
• Lápiz escolar, borrador y sacapuntas
• Estilógrafo negro marca MICRON de 0.5mm
• Acuarelas
• Colores de madera PRISMACOLOR
• Marcadores de diferentes colores

I really like how this drawing turned out.

Realmente me agrada muchísimo como quedó este dibujo.

For the day I was doing this drawing I had bought Chinese ink and some Chinese ink pens, so I couldn't resist inking the first sketch 😉

Para el día que estaba haciendo este dibujo había comprado tinta china y unas plumillas para la tinta china, así que no pude resistirme en entintar el primer boceto 😉
