Monomad: Wrinkled Snail

Did Captain America come to a halt here? And did he leave his shield there by accident? I muttered to myself when I saw this lying on a rock in the river.

Something appeared and moved from the gap in the shield a moment later, and I realized it was a wrinkled snail. The little guy was creeping really slowly, but it was his fastest motion, and if he had entered the races, he would have been far behind the other racers.

That is absolutely adorable! The shell is pretty cool, resembling a disk plate with a spiral surface.
