Hello Dear Friends,
Every country has important firsts. It is considered important to keep them in the memory of future generations. In Eskişehir, Turkey, there is an important museum established for this purpose. In Türaşaş Museum, Turkey's first car "Devrim" is exhibited. There are also small steam locomotive trains named "Efe" and "Mehmetçik" produced in 1957. The aim is to instill a love of trains in the public. Inspired by these trains, Turkey's first large steam locomotive train "Karakurt" was built in 1961.

Let's take a closer look at the other sections of this historical museum and the details of my journey.

Merhaba Değerli Arkadaşlar,
Her ülkenin önemli ilkleri vardır.

Türaşaş Museum consists of two parts, open and closed. In this content, I will show you the open part. There are nice details especially about steam locomotive trains. Their small size made it easier for me to examine them. I went inside and examined various parts of them. There was important information on the signboard about these trains. These small locomotives had a capacity of 35 tons. They ran at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, traveling only between two stations.

Having seen the trains, which can be considered historical resources, so closely, I had to examine every part of them.

After visiting the sections about trains, I noticed the drawings on the wall. They looked interesting and beautiful. Close to the drawings was a model of a modern train in service in Eskişehir.

And I went to the Devrim automobile. This automobile was a revolution for Turkey. It was produced in 1961 to meet the passenger car needs of the army. This automobile, which was considered impossible to produce at that time, was produced completely domestically in a short period of four and a half months. It weighed 1250 kg and was designed to travel 140 km per hour. After the production of the automobile, the then President of the Republic took a test drive in this automobile and participated in the parade.

The Revolution automobile managed to impress me. There was a lot of labor in the production process. However, for various reasons, the automobile was lost in the pages of history without being put into mass production. The only way to pull it out of those pages and tell a message to future generations was to exhibit it...

Devrim otomobili beni etkilemeyi başarmıştı. Üretim sürecinde birçok emek vardı. Fakat otomobil çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı seri üretime geçmeden tarihin tzolu sayfaları arasında kaybolup gitmişti. Onu o sayfalar arasından çekip çıkarmanın, gelecek nesillere mesaj anlatmanın tek yolu sergilemekti...

Araba ile ilgili bir film vardı sanki. Trajik diye hatırlıyorum. Gerçek halini görmek etkileyici olurdu.

Evet, trajik malesef. Yerli araba olayını geciktirdi. Teknoloji birikimi fırsatı kaçtı.
