My fellow teachers and I were visiting our students who were preparing for LGS, just like the path we were walking, so that they would not have foggy thoughts or so that they would have light when those foggy thoughts came! Amacımız siste yürümek değildi. Sadece uğramamız gereken birkaç yer vardı. Yanımdaki öğretmen arkadaşlarla LGS'ye hazırlanan öğrencilerimizi ziyaret ediyorduk. Tıpkı yürüdüğümüz yol gibi bulanık düşünceleri olmasın diye ya da o bulanık düşünceler geldiğinde ışıkları olsun diye! Amacımız yürüdüğümüz yola benziyordu, yol amacımıza...

It was our third day of parent visits. It is usual to have such visits in village schools. We had taken a break for two years due to the pandemic. We started again this year.

Since 5th grade, I am glad that we are going to the children whose class teachers I am, because the success of some children increases after home visits. Parent, teacher and student cooperation is very useful in this sense.

Veli ziyaretlerinde üçüncü günümüzdü. Köy okullarında bu tür ziyaretlerinin yapılması olağan bir durum. Pandemiden dolayı iki sene ara vermiştik. Bu yıl tekrar başladık.

Beşinci sınıftan beri sınıf öğretmenleri olduğum çocuklara gitmemize sevindim. Çünkü bazı çocukların başarısı ev ziyaretlerinden sonra artıyor. Veli, öğretmen ve öğrenci iş birliği bu anlamda çok faydalı.

In the places we visit, we have the chance to closely observe the children's working environment at home. We examine their source books and check whether they are progressing in parallel with the units at school. After reviewing a few criteria like these, we move on to the conclusion section. This is the part that children dislike the most. Most of them do not have the study habits we want. I hope this situation will be reversed soon.

Ziyaret ettiğimiz yerlerde çocukların evdeki çalışma ortamını yakından gözlemleme şansımız oluyor. Kaynak kitaplarını inceleyip okuldaki ünitelerle paralel ilerleyip ilerlemediklerini kontrol ediyoruz. Bunlar gibi birkaç kriteri gözden geçirip sonuç bölümüne geçiyoruz. Çocukların en sevmediği bölüm burası. Çoğu istediğimiz düzeyde çalışma alışkanlığına sahip değil. Umarım bu durum yakın zamanda tersine döner.

After the home visits, we also take credit for ourselves without realizing it. No matter what age we are, we are all students. Whether we have an exam ahead of us or not does not affect this situation. Because the teacher named life only looks at our struggle to give us a grade.

Ev ziyaretlerinden sonra kendi adımıza da pay çıkartıyoruz farkında olmadan. Hangi yaşa gelirsek gelelim hepimiz birer öğrenciyiz. Önümüzde bizi bekleyen bir sınavın olup olmaması bu durumu etkilemiyor. Çünkü hayat isimli öğretmen, not vermek için sadece mücadele gücümüze bakıyor.
