What I feel

I feel he wants to make a call and he wants to be alone and that's why he went up the rooftop.

Fair: The Negotiation

"We must make sure we win this! The company needs it and that is why we chose you to negotiate this deal. I wish you luck! Call me and update me on the proceedings." Mr Edgar said.

Although Mr Edgar is the company's Financial Director, he is so enthusiastic about good outcomes for the company. If he is the CEO, it would be a different ball game. Thomson thought.

I can do this!

Thomson whispered to himself as he opened the door.

All pleasantries transpired and the negotiations began.

Midway, Thomson was tensed. He couldn't believe the proposition they were giving him. It was as if they had an insider who must have exposed their weak points to the other parties.

No one else could know or do this apart from the Financial Director or the CEO.

He needs to call for recess.

He needs to make a call. Mr Edgar has some questions to answer and they have to settle for a compromise which is still possible if not they lose it all.

He discovered that the rooftop of the building is isolated and he could make is call without anyone hearing his conversation.

Done with the conversation with Mr Edgar agreeing to the compromise deal as fair enough.

Thomson returned and in no time he got the compromise deal and that's fair!
