[Stachytarpheta urticifolia] A beautiful wild plant and also has many benefits

Hay everything! this is my first post in the Amazing Nature community and this is my second post after yesterday i had time to make my self-introduction post. on this occasion I want to share my second post on the hive platform, I want to share a post about flowers.

This is one of the wild plants that grows on the outskirts of Indonesian forests, this flower has a relatively small size from the size of other flowers that are specially planted by most people. This flower in Latin is known as Stachytarpheta urticifolia, this flower also grows in various other countries such as China and the Philippines.

In addition to its very beautiful color, which is a bluish purple color, this flower also has many benefits for humans in terms of treatment. The following is an explanation of some of the benefits of Stachytarpheta urticifolia flowers according to Wikipedia.

Stachytarpheta urticifolia has several benefits for human life, namely for medicine. Stachytarpheta urticifolia plants have chemical content such as alkaloids and glycose. Alkaloids and glycose can treat tonsillitis, sore throat, cough and hepatitis A. The plant parts that are often used for treatment are the flowers, roots and leaves. Stachytarpheta urticifolia plant can also be used to treat urinary infections, rheumatism, irregular menstruation and vaginal discharge. Stachytarpheta urticifolia flowers and stalks can treat inflammation of the liver or hepatitis A. Vaginal discharge that is often experienced by women can also be treated using boiled water from the roots of Stachytarpheta urticifolia. In addition to medicine, Stachytarpheta urticifolia can also be used for ornamental plants, because the flowers bloom throughout the year so they can decorate the house longer.

In addition to having many benefits, this flower is also good as an ornamental plant because this plant will continue to flower throughout the year, unlike other flowers which sometimes have a new season of flowering.
I've never seen people cultivate this flower in their yard, even though it would look good if they planted it and took good care of it.

Here you can see some pictures of Stachytarpheta urticifolia flowers that I have taken using a smartphone camera, I am sure you will like it especially for those of you who like this color, which is purple.
