Hive Cosplay Photography Contest Nr.1
As announced last week in the announcement we are going to start the hive cosplay contest within the cosplay community (hive-120185). The Topic or theme of this week will be "your first cosplay". So if you still remember what ever your first cosplay was find it and take a shot or just use your archiv. No matter how old the picture might be, I am sure you have a funny story to tell about it.

Contest rules:
How is the Cosplay photography Contest set up?

There will be only one tier and a fan favorite. 1st-3rd place will be decided by the jury of the cosplay community and the fan favorite by most shares & likes. The price pool is split as this:

3rd 3 Hive

Fan Favorite 10 SBU

How to enter

Make a post on your own with the theme that was announced, describing your Cosplay idea or Story and reference to the cosplay announcement and the hive cosplay community with #cosplay @hive-120185
Post it into the cosplay community @hive-120185 (only native posts, no cross posting)
Post a picture and link of your cosplay photography entry in the comment section of the theme announcement post.

Make sure your post isn’t already in another photography contest at the same time. (so when you posted that picture like 5 years ago, it doesn’t matter but it should not collide with other photography contests of the same time period)

How long will the contests run for?
Each contest will be open for submissions for 7 days (or a week) always starting on Monday and closing on Sunday at 12pm CET. So this contest will be valid from 18th July until sunday the 24th of july.

The evaluation will take up to 7 days since this is the time the post will be eligible for likes and share. Also this will give us time to judge the submissions and create the post announcing the winners.
Which means for now the Contest will run bi-weekly (2 times) in a month. This frequency might change in future.

What are the themes?
The theme for the Hive Cosplay Photography Contest Nr. 1 is "your first cosplay".

The contest is right now just run by me and @schlees who helps with the price pool. But we are open to collaborations and support of any kind, also looking for guest judges, just dm me on discord. Wie letzte Woche angekündigt, starten wir den hive Cosplay Wettbewerb innerhalb der Cosplay Community (hive-120185). Das Thema dieser Woche wird "Dein erstes Cosplay" sein. Wenn ihr also noch wisst, was euer erstes Cosplay war, dann sucht es heraus und macht ein Foto oder benutzt einfach euer Archiv. Egal wie alt das Bild ist, ich bin mir sicher, ihr habt eine lustige Geschichte dazu zu erzählen.

Regeln für den Wettbewerb:
Wie ist der Cosplay-Fotowettbewerb aufgebaut?

Es wird nur eine Stufe und einen Fan-Favoriten geben. Die Plätze 1 bis 3 werden von der Jury der Cosplay-Community bestimmt und der Fan-Favorit durch die meisten Shares & Likes. Der Preispool wird wie folgt aufgeteilt:

Wie man mitmacht

Erstelle einen eigenen Beitrag mit dem angekündigten Thema, beschreibe deine Cosplay-Idee oder -Story und verweise auf die Cosplay-Ankündigung und die Hive-Cosplay-Community mit #cosplay @hive-120185
Poste es in der Cosplay-Community @hive-120185 (nur eigene Posts, kein Crossposting)
Poste ein Bild und einen Link zu deinem Cosplay-Foto im Kommentarbereich der Themenankündigung.

Vergewissere dich, dass dein Beitrag nicht bereits in einem anderen Fotowettbewerb zur gleichen Zeit ist. (Wenn du das Bild also vor 5 Jahren gepostet hast, spielt das keine Rolle, aber es sollte nicht mit anderen Fotowettbewerben aus demselben Zeitraum kollidieren)

Wie lange laufen die Wettbewerbe?
Jeder Wettbewerb ist 7 Tage (oder eine Woche) lang offen für Einsendungen, die immer am Montag beginnen und am Sonntag um 12 Uhr MEZ enden. Dieser Wettbewerb läuft also vom 18. Juli bis Sonntag, den 24. Juli.

Die Bewertung wird bis zu 7 Tage dauern, da in dieser Zeit der Beitrag für Likes und Shares in Frage kommt. Außerdem haben wir so genug Zeit, die Einsendungen zu bewerten und die Gewinner zu verkünden.
Das bedeutet, dass der Wettbewerb vorerst alle zwei Wochen (2 Mal) im Monat stattfinden wird. Diese Frequenz kann sich in Zukunft ändern.
