Logic is the study of correct reasoning—the rules for drawing valid inferences from premises. Something is "logical" when it follows those rules: if the premises are true, the conclusion must be true (Britannica). It's the difference between "all humans are mortal, Socrates is human, so Socrates is mortal" (valid) and "I like cats, therefore the moon is cheese" (not valid).
