Kali x IW3_MA_ 2 Harvest: Part 1 (English/Spanish)

I was assessing the plant’s condition and came to the conclusion that I needed to harvest in two stages. In all my time growing, I’d never done this before—harvesting in two stages—but there’s always a first time. What I’ve heard about harvesting in stages is that it’s something pro growers do, because you have to know how to sequence the cuts by determining which buds are the ripest.

So, on Saturday, September 12, I began the first phase of the harvest by cutting the buds from the side branches. You can see this in the corresponding images that I’ll be posting throughout this article.

In my grows, the plants almost always reach their final flowering stage without any nutrient deficiencies—when I harvest, the leaves stay green. Maybe it’s because the fertilizer I use—bat guano—is extremely effective, and you can really see that in the plant.

Starting that Saturday, I began the drying process for the first part of the harvest, and in 15 days I’ll transfer them to their respective glass jars for curing. When we carry out all these processes with discipline, we’re always able to produce high-quality cannabis, and the more we practice this over time, the more we realize just how important all these details are.

Fortunately, this plant had no pests—just the occasional black fly—but the whiteflies didn’t have time to invade. Last season, that pest was what ruined my crop, so I kept a close eye on things this year, and the plant also behaved very well.

Tomorrow I have the second part of the harvest scheduled, which involves cutting the central bud—the one with the most flowers. Cosecha Kali x IW3_MA_ 2: Primera Parte

Estuve evaluando la situación de la planta y llegue a la conclusión de que había que cosechar en 2 partes, en todo el tiempo que tengo cultivando nunca lo había hecho, lo de cultivar en 2 partes, pero siempre hay una primera vez, y lo que he escuchado sobre cultivar por partes es que es de cultivadores pro, porque hay que saber como hacer la secuencia de cortes determinando cuales cogollos están más a punto.

Así que el sábado 12 de septiembre inicie la primera fase de cosecha cortando los cogollos de las ramas laterales, de igual forma lo puedes ver las respectivas imágenes que iré colocando en el transcurso de la publicación.

Casi siempre en mis cultivos la plantas llegan a su última fase de floración sin carencias porque cuando realizó la cosecha, las hojas se mantienen verdes, quizás sea porque el fertilizante que uso, que es el guano de murcielago rinde muchísimo y eso se nota en la planta.

Desde ese dia sabado empece el proceso de secado de la primera parte de la cosecha y en 15 dias procedere a colocarlas en sus respectivos potes de vidrio para su curación, ya que todos los procesos cuando los realizamos con disciplina siempre nos permiten obtener cannabis de alta calidad y mientras más lo practicamos a los largo del tiempo más nos damos cuenta de lo importante que son todos esos detalles.

Afortunadamente esta planta no tuvo plagas, alguna que otra mosca negra, pero las moscas blancas no tuvieron tiempo de invadir y en el cultivo de la temporada pasada esa plaga fue la que me daño el cultivo, así que este año estuve pendiente pero la planta también se portó muy bien.

Mañana tengo agendada la segunda parte de la cosecha lo que corresponde a cortar el cogollo central y el que más cantidad de flores tiene, igual estare anotando las fechas de corte para notar las diferencias cuando haga el test del material, espero sigan disfrutando de mis publicaciones en base a las vivencias que tengo con el cultivo.
