El elasmosaurus midió aproximadamente 14 metros de longitud, siendo su largo cuello la mayor parte de esos 14 metros de largo, sus grandes aletas servían como remo, al punto de parecer que volará bajo el agua por la gran velocidad y forma de nadar que pudo haber tenido.

The elasmosaurus measured approximately 14 meters in length, being its long neck most of those 14 meters long, its large fins served as an oar, to the point of seeming to fly underwater because of the great speed and way of swimming that it could have had.

El elasmosaurio pertenece a el grupo de plesiosaurios, el cual junto al grupo de ictiosaurios y plesiosaurios eran aquellos que dominaban y reinaban en las aguas cuando los dinosaurios gobernaban la tierra y los pterosaurios surcaban los cielos.

The elasmosaurus belongs to the group of plesiosaurs, which together with the group of ichthyosaurs and pliosaurs were those that dominated and reigned in the waters when dinosaurs ruled the land and pterosaurs roamed the skies.

El elasmosaurus vivió la mayor parte en el agua cazando peces, siendo estos su fuente de alimento, pero las hembras subían a la superficie para desovar sus huevos en las playas arenosas, similar a las tortugas marinas de hoy en día. Este plesiosaurio poseía una cabeza muy pequeña en comparación con su cuerpo grande y alargado.

Elasmosaurus lived mostly in the water hunting fish as their food source, but females would come to the surface to lay their eggs on sandy beaches, similar to today's sea turtles. This plesiosaur had a very small head compared to its large and elongated body.

Los dientes afilados y alargados del elasmosaurio podían enganchar y descargar a sus presas, pero su mandíbula no era de gran tamaño en comparación con otros depredadores, por eso tal vez sólo cazaba presas de menor tamaño, mucho más pequeño que el de él.

The elasmosaur's sharp, elongated teeth could hook and unload its prey, but its jaw was not large in size compared to other predators, so perhaps it only hunted smaller prey, much smaller than its own.

Realizar este dibujo me tomó aproximadamente 3 horas, sin duda a veces me sorprende lo rápido que puedo realizar un dibujo y es algo que me encanta, ya que así puedo ver mi avance con la aplicación de dibujo. Los reptiles marinos de aquel entonces sin duda eran de ser temidos, la mayoría fueron carnívoros de gran tamaño, haciendo ver pequeño a el elasmosaurio, además me encanta realizar detalles con distintos tonos azules.

This drawing took me approximately 3 hours, without a doubt sometimes it surprises me how fast I can make a drawing and it is something that I love, because I can see my progress with the drawing application. The marine reptiles of that time were undoubtedly to be feared, most were carnivores of large size, making the elasmosaurus look small, I also love to make details with different shades of blue.
