Hello everyone, come back with me on this occasion, I want to make coconut milk soup, for some reason today I really want to eat savory, not sweet, coconut milk soup, so I thought of making chayote and spinach coconut milk soup for the breaking fast menu later, in In our regional language, this sauce is called gravy {leumak} in Indonesian, gravy, which means savory.

I think this is a good idea to make a savory dish made from coconut milk, and I decided to process chayote and spinach into vegetables which I will combine to make vegetable coconut milk sauce, because I think chayote is very suitable to be prepared with coconut milk

without waiting a long time I immediately started going to the market first to shop for my needs such as buying coconut milk and vegetables that I would cook later, namely chayote and spinach, after I got home at the market I immediately cooked them as a side dish for breaking the fast later



Ingredients for making chayote coconut milk sauce:

1 bunch of spinach
100 grams of chayote
1 sachet of coconut milk

Ground spices

2 Spring onions
1 clove of garlic
3 cayenne peppers
a piece of turmeric
3 pieces of sunti acid



how to make :

(1) The first step is to cut all the vegetables first, peel the skin of the chayote, then cut it into cubes, wash it clean and set it aside for a while



(2) After that, prepare the ground spices, including shallots, garlic, turmeric and sunti acid, then grind all the spices with a blender.

(3) after that, sauté the ground spices with a little oil then add the chayote pieces and add 400ml of water and then pour in one sachet of coconut milk, then stir well

(4) Cook for about 15 minutes, then the chayote is a little cooked, then pour in the spinach leaves, don't forget to stir, and add salt then adjust the taste and after that check whether the chayote is cooked and prepare, turn off the stove and let cool.
