Hello everyone ❤️
Tis AFRI-TUNES week 21 so im gonna be singing "Eye Adaba by Asa"Asa is a Nigerian- French singer, but more importantly she is the new generation of Nigerian and african music. She takes the fusion of Yoruba and English to new dimensions with her truly captivating vocals, making her music more internationally accessible for others to want to explore-
The word Eyé Àdabà means “Dove”, some people have interpreted it as a reflective prayer, echoing desire for peace, whilst we live in a chaotic world diminished by violence.

Asa’s track, “Eye Adaba”, from her first album is a tranquillizer of sorts. Even those who do not understand the Yoruba language know this as a fact. Literally interpreted as “Dove”, it is a solemn, introspective prayer; one of hope and sincere yearning for peace.

Every day, I read about wars, and rumours of war. We hear of several strange occurrences across our nation Nigeria and the world in general. In all these things, God continues to keep us.

Lyrics
Oju mo ti mo. It's a new day
Oju mo ti mo mi. It's a new day
Ni le yi o o. In this land
Oju mo ti mo It's a new day
Mo ri re o. I have seen goodness

Eye adaba. Devine dove
Eye adaba. Devine dove
Eye adaba ti n fo lo ke lo ke.
Wa ba le mi o o The dove which flies
up in the sky
Come descend on me
Oju mo ti mo. It's a new day
Mo ri re o. I have seen joy

Thank u❤️

Letra
Oju mo ti mo. Es un nuevo día
Oju mo ti mo mi. Es un nuevo día
Ni le yi o o. en esta tierra
Oju mo ti mo Es un nuevo día
Mo ri re o. he visto bondad
