🌹 Today I bring you a beautiful butterfly to fill with love to all those people who today are battling breast cancer, a disease that if detected early can save our lives.
🌹 The butterfly is a symbol of perseverance, resistance, love, change, hope, the little caterpillar goes through a painful metamorphosis, but in the end it is all worth it to spread its beautiful wings, I compare it as the process that I went through during the treatment to combat breast cancer, at times it was very painful, I even thought that I would not succeed; Life is always worth living despite the difficulties we encounter along the way, thank God today I am in remission.
🌹 Hoy les traigo una hermosa mariposa para llenar de amor a todas aquellas personas que hoy se encuentran batallando contra el cáncer de mamas, una enfermedad que si es detectada a tiempo puede salvar nuestras vidas.🌹 La mariposa es un símbolo de perseverancia, resistencia, amor, cambio, esperanza, la pequeña oruga pasa por una dolorosa metamorfosis, pero al final todo vale la pena para desplegar sus hermosas alas, lo comparo como el proceso que viví durante el tratamiento para combatir el cáncer de mamas, en ocasiones fue muy doloroso, hasta llegué a pensar que no lo lograría; la vida siempre vale la pena vivirla a pesar de las dificultades que nos consigamos en el camino, gracias a Dios hoy me encuentro en remisión.
🌹 To carry out this project, I looked in my trunk for pieces of felt of beautiful colors that made harmony and beautiful elements to decorate.
🌹 Para realizar este proyecto, busqué en mi baúl retales de fieltro de lindos colores que hicieran armonía y hermosos elementos para decorar.
🌹 The wings of this butterfly could not be any other color than pink, since it is the color that symbolizes the fight against breast cancer. Six years ago on this same date, thanks to the different organizations that campaign to fight breast cancer, I made the decision to have a medical check-up, it seemed that I saw the pink ribbon everywhere telling me how much more are you going to wait? The diagnosis was not a surprise to me, because I already suspected it because I had already felt a lump in one of my breasts and I have a family history, what I did not expect was that I had them in both and that they had to do a mastectomy. bilateral; But my great concern was my mother Parque did not know how she was going to take the news, but she told me that mothers draw strength from their entrails to support the family, she has great strength like butterflies.
🌹 Las alas de esta mariposa no podían ser de otro color que rosadas, ya que es el color que simboliza la lucha contra el cáncer de mamas. Hace seis años para esta misma fecha, gracias a las diferentes organizaciones que hacen campaña para combatir el cáncer de mamas, tomé la decisión de hacerme un chequeo médico, parecía que veía el lazo rosa por todas partes diciéndome ¿Cuánto más vas a esperar? Para mí no fue sorpresa el diagnostico, porque ya lo sospechaba debido a que ya venía sintiendo un bultico en uno de mis senos y tengo antecedentes familiares, lo que no me esperaba era que los tenía en los dos y que me tenían que hacer una mastectomía bilateral; pero mi gran preocupación era mi madre parque no sabía cómo iba a tomar la noticia, pero ella me dijo que las madres sacan fuerzas de sus entrañas para sostener a la familia, ella tiene una gran fortaleza como las mariposas.
🌹 I decorated the wings with a beautiful green heart that symbolizes the color of hope, healing and love, I also put some glitter on it with green sequins and fancy sequins in the shape of a flower, thus lighting the way for us. With these wings I somehow want to represent my arms that after a long rehabilitation process, I was able to go back to doing what I like so much, which is sewing, now with a different rhythm but I'm still happy about that.
🌹 Las alas las decoré con un hermoso corazón verde que simboliza el color de la esperanza, la sanidad y el amor, también le puse algo de brillo con lentejuelas verdes y lentejuelas fantasías en forma de flor, así nos iluminan el camino. Con estas alas de alguna forma quiero representar mis brazos que luego de un largo proceso de rehabilitación, pude volver a hacer lo que tanto me gusta como lo es coser, ahora con otro ritmo pero igualmente estoy feliz por eso.
🌹 I still can't decide if I will put a ribbon on the butterfly, to hang it in a special place in my room or to make a cushion to decorate the bed. What do you suggest to me?
