Greetings, dear community, I hope you are well, this week Qurator invites us to prepare a cake recipe, for me it is impossible to resist a good portion, so on Sunday I went to the market to buy some ears of corn and prepare a cake that I had not enjoyed for a long time, I invite you to accompany me step by step.
Saludos apreciada comunidad espero que se encuentren bien, esta semana Qurator nos invita a preparar una receta de torta, para mi es imposible resistirme a una buena ración, así que el domingo me fui para el mercado a comprar unas mazorcas de maíz y preparar una torta que tenía mucho tiempo sin disfrutar, los invito a que me acompañen al paso a paso.

Ingredients:

5 ears of corn
3 eggs
½ cup of sugar
2 heaping tablespoons butter
1 cup of liquid milk
1 tablespoon of baking powder
Vanilla essence to taste
Powdered sugar to decorate
Cornmeal and butter for the mold

Ingredientes:

5 mazorcas de maíz
3 huevos
½ taza de azúcar
2 cucharadas colmadas de mantequilla
1 taza de leche liquida
1 cucharada de polvo de hornear
Esencia de vainilla al gusto
Azúcar impalpable para decorar
Harina de maíz y mantequilla para el molde

Elaboration process / Proceso de elaboración:

🌺 First with the help of a knife we ​​shelled the ears, I particularly do not like to use canned corn because it does not have the same intensity of flavor, if you want to use it you must drain it very well since it has a lot of liquid and you can add a few tablespoons of flour. corn or wheat to make it consistent.
🌺 Primero con la ayuda de un cuchillo desgranamos las mazorcas, particularmente no me gusta utilizar el maíz en lata porque no tiene la misma intensidad de sabor, si deseas utilizarlo debes escurrirlo muy bien ya que tiene mucho líquido y le puedes añadir unas cucharadas de harina de maíz o trigo para que tome consistencia.

🌺 We blend the corn together with the milk until we obtain a cream.

🌺 In a bowl we add the butter and the sugar, then beat until the butter is creamy.

🌺 Later we add the vanilla, the baking powder, the mixture of the cobs and the milk.
🌺 Posteriormente añadimos la vainilla, el polvo de hornear, la mezcla de las mazorcas y la leche.

🌺 We pour the mixture into a mold, I put a little butter and cornmeal to prevent it from sticking, then we take it to the oven previously preheated to 180 degrees Celsius, the cooking time will depend on the power of each oven.
🌺 Vaciamos la mezcla en un molde, yo le puse un poquito de mantequilla y harina de maíz para evitar que se pegue, luego lo llevamos al horno previamente precalentado a 180 grados centígrados, el tiempo de cocción dependerá de la potencia de cada horno.
