There is a long way to go before the date season in my town, a few weeks ago when I was doing the market I saw date paste at a very good price, and I did not want to miss the opportunity to buy it, since it is not so common to get it. Today I got down to work to make some delicious and nutritious truffles.

Falta mucho para la temporada de dátiles en mi pueblo, hace unas semanas cuando estaba haciendo mercado vi pasta de dátiles a muy buen precio, y no quise dejar pasar la oportunidad de comprarla, ya que no es tan común conseguirla. Hoy me puse manos a la obra para elaborar unas deliciosas y nutritivas trufas.

For today's recipe we will need | Para la receta de hoy necesitaremos:

Ingredients:

2 heaped tablespoons date paste
½ cup instant rolled oats
1/3 cup of almonds
½ tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Ingredientes:

2 cucharadas colmadas de pasta de dátiles
½ taza de avena instantánea en hojuelas
1/3 de taza de almendras
½ cucharada de cacao en polvo
1 cucharadita de canela

Elaboration process / Proceso de elaboración:

🌷 Later, in a large enough bowl, I added the 2 generous tablespoons of date paste.

🌷 Then we incorporated the oats, the ground almonds, and 'to give it more flavor, the cocoa powder and cinnamon, I tell you that I would have liked to add more cinnamon, but it was the last thing I had left.

🌷 Luego incorporamos la avena, las almendras molidas, y `para darle más sabor el cacao en polvo y la canela, les cuento que me fuese gustado añadirle más canela, pero era lo último que me quedaba.

🌷 With the help of a spoon, we are incorporating the ingredients, at first it seems that they are not going to come together, but we continue mixing by applying a little pressure, then we end up joining the mixture by kneading a little with our hands.

🌷 Con la ayuda de una cuchara, vamos incorporando los ingredientes, al principio parece que no se van a unir, pero seguimos mezclando haciendo un poquito de presión, luego terminamos uniendo la mezcla amasando un poco con las manos.

🌷 With our hands we form the balls of the desired size, it is not necessary to spread oil or water on the hands, since the mixture is not sticky, if you wish then you can pass the balls through cocoa or some chopped dry fruit, this time I preferred not cover them.

🌷 Con las manos formamos las bolitas del tamaño deseado, no es necesario untar en las manos aceite ni agua, ya que la mezcla no queda pegajosa,si deseas luego las puedes pasar las bolitas por cacao o algún fruto seco picadito, en esta oportunidad preferí no cubrirlas.
