Anno Domini. Mi collage para Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 105
ANNO DOMINI

This is lovely. I see the child not only for the Christ child but representing the coming New Year. Nice additions with the birds and flowers.
Gracias, @redheadpei. I agree. I agree, y mucho. The child is renewal and hope.
Recibe un hug enorme. Tus birds son una belleza.

Muchas gracias por su apoyo. Es de gran valor para mí.
It is the experience of falling short of our imagined outcome that makes us human. That is perfect for a Christmas collage. We are human and we strive. I don't think there ever was an artist who saw the finished product and said, "Aha, that is it, that is perfection". To do that would be to truly create, and humans can't do that. But we can communicate. That's what art does. We can rise above the mundane and reach for something more than ordinary. That is eloquence. That's the gift you have, when you express yourself verbally and in art. Always in your blogs your image and your words complement each other and become richer.
A wonderful Christmas collage. A celebration.
Finally I am commenting on your wonderful blog. Busy, Busy days. Great to have you creating in LMAC, @adncabrera. Wishing for you and all of us a peaceful, fulfilling 2022
Hugs :)
Oh, dear @agmoore! Such nice words you say about my little project. And how true what you say about art! It is a permanent quest, doomed to failure, but in itself a triumph.
The symbols of the Nativity has always captivated me. The metaphor of birth is not only comforting, but it tucks away our deep need for a chance to do it all over again.
Happy New Year and may it bring you many opportunities for joy, art and prosperity (Yei!!!)!
