Some fans are finally understanding Tom Brady's greatness in 2021

For Tom Brady this is Year 22. I think the sports world is starting to realize just how bad they messed up.

Tom Brady is the GOAT football player and in many ways fans just watched his great career pass by without realizing they were watching true greatness.

I can't speak for everyone, I mainly mean myself, I just know I can't be alone here.

For twenty years Brady was a New England Patriot. He won SIX Super Bowls while he was there.

But many fans, including myself, didn't see Brady as this prolific elite never before seen passer. Brady seemed like a good QB but many people credited his championship accomplishments to having a tremendous head coach in Bill Belichick and not necessarily because of Brady.

To a lot of people, Brady was a robot or a soldier of the Belichick machine. People believed that nearly any decent QB would succeed with Belichick as a head coach.

So many people hated or doubted Brady through TWENTY YEARS AND SIX RINGS

-Brady is a cheater
-Brady is un-athletic
-Brady is a product of Bill Belichick

These three narratives have been major and constant throughout Brady's career.

Throughout the past decade, Brady has been absolutely shutting the mouths of many many of these critics.

Personally I started opening my eyes during rings 5-7. I really started to think like 'what am I watching?'.

The whole 'Brady was cheating' thing has been blown extremely out of proportion to me, but I won't get into the details there today. The bottom line there is that he's won several rings since then AND now he's won one with an entirely different franchise, in his first season.

It's hard to say he's still cheating (if he ever did) after all of that especially since he's been under a microscope since then.

So many people are becoming genuinely confused that Brady is still playing well and it's not just because Brady is 44 years old.

People are really confused Brady is playing well because they are slowly becoming forced to re-evaluate their entire view on the Patriots dynasty.

Brady has been good the whole time. He's been elite the whole time.

Brady winning that ring last year, and continuing to play well like he did last night, is just proving so much to so many, even me.

Brady playing well this late in his career is truly eerie and spooky to people.

For over twenty years many fans enjoyed lying to themselves about how good Brady is.

People are opening their eyes and acknowledging Brady's greatness in Year 22, but it's kind of too late. He's too good now.

This man has worked and worked and worked, probably wanting to be truly respected as a player but media stories always slandered him in different ways.

Brady is free of New England's shadow. He's convincing people finally, but all that work and skill he's developed has created a football monster.

I don't think he's unbeatable, because obviously he's not.

But people need to start realizing Brady is different. Truly.

Brady is not Lamar, like so many weird fans want a star QB to be.

But Brady is big, he can maneuver in the pocket with the best of them. He has elite arm talent. He has great arm strength.

Two things that Brady has though that not many others do, is his sheer straight up IQ AND his competitiveness.

For the Titans sake I hope he loses more in 2021 but I don't see that happening.

Brady and the Bugs are unfortunately going to be a problem. How big? Who knows. But definitely a problem.

Brady is finally making his point, that many fans didn't know he was trying to make.
