My Cleaning Exercise For Friday, 26th of January, 2024.

Good morning everyone, welcome to my blog. It's very cold and breezy this morning. I was confused as to where to work this morning, so I decided to work near a piece of land near my house. People have been throwing refuse on this abandoned forest because the owner of the land has not come around to develop it.

But the inhabitants do not care, they blame the government for everything, neglecting what they can do to help themselves, pending the time the government will come to their aid.

The forest had been littered with different pollutants such as wraps of biscuits and sweets, papers, polythene, and plastic bottles. This place is a forest because the owner had not come around to develop it, but if it is developed it will cost more because of the indiscriminate dumping of refuse.

Some of these wastes are hazardous to the growth of plants. It also takes many years to disintegrate, for example, plastic bottles, diapers, milk cartons, styrofoam, and glass bottles.
The bottles can be dropped in bottle banks, styrofoam can also be dumped inside the trash bin after removing the recyclable pieces.
We need to dump refuse correctly, a lot of inhabitants need to be educated on the harm these wastes pose to the community and their health as well.
