My Cleaning Activity For Wednesday, 3rd of April, 2024.

Good day everyone, welcome to my blog. Today I carried out my cleaning as usual. I visited a community called Obada. I went to visit a close relative of mine. The place was littered with different refuse such as polythene, sachet of water, plastic bottles, wraps of biscuits and sweets, papers etc. I took advantage of the opportunity to carry out my cleaning activity for the day.
The environment became clean after the cleaning exercise.

Polyvinyl chloride:

Polyvinyl chloride is number 3 , which indicates the type of plastic used for the product.
PVC is used in various applications such as medical devices, automotive parts, toys, packaging material etc. Its versatility, durability, and cost-effectiveness make it a popular choice in many industries.

One of the key advantages of PVC is its resistance to chemicals, moisture, and weathering, making it suitable for outdoor applications. It is also relatively fire-resistant compared to other plastics, adding to its safety properties.

However, PVC also has some drawbacks. It is made from non-renewable fossil fuels, and its production and disposal can have negative environmental impacts. The manufacturing process releases toxic chlorine gas, and the incineration of PVC can produce harmful dioxins.
